Over the next few weeks, Ronnie Capps will tell us when the crappie spawn starts, where to find the fish during the spawn and how to catch crappie when a cold front hits. He’ll dispel crappie myths most of us embrace as fact. Most of us believe the best time to catch crappie, if not the only time, is when the crappie are spawning and holding on shallow-water cover.
