This rod is made from the same blanks as our famous BGJP Jig Pole Series, but with a bottom mounted, fixed reel seat and a Portuguese cork handle. The bottom mounted reel seat adds superior balance, and you utilize the full length of the rod. This is a true "blank through handle" design. Made of 96% Tubular graphite.

Great Rod

I have the 11 footer. It has proven to be a great rod just like every other BnM I have. It has plenty backbone to pull slabs out of mats and tops yet limber enough to not pull the hook out. Mine balanced best with a 500 size spinning reel. I tried a Crappie Thunder Solo on it for a while but went back the spinning reel
